Follow A System- By: Bob Uslander

Description : How did I go from being a frustrated and uninspired ER doctor to becoming the happiest, most fulfilled doctor I know?

The first thing I did was DECIDE to change. Making the decision to change what's not working in your life is the most critical part of actually changing. Until you make that conscious choice, nothing really changes. Once you do, you are living in a different world.

Here's a little riddle for you: Six frogs are sitting on a lily pad when one of them decides to jump in the water. How many frogs are left on the lily pad? (for the answer, scroll down to the bottom of the page.)

Once I made the decision to change my life, I looked for mentors to help me and a proven system to follow. I didn't just try to do it alone. I knew my chances of success were far greater if I found others who had achieved the kind of success I was hoping to achieve, and try to do what they had done.

If you want to bring about positive changes in your life and reach new levels of happiness and success, I believe that's what you need to do too: First, make the decision to be truly happy and successful, and then connect with a coach or mentor who has been successful in getting to where you want to be, and identify a system that can help you get there.

Believe me, I'm not making these recommendations merely so that you'll contact me and hire me as your coach. Yes, I can help you. Yes, I have developed a system. But I can only work directly with a relatively small group of people for whom I'm the right match. My goal in sharing this information is to encourage YOU to make a decision and take action. Soon, while you still can.

The system I've developed and now share with others, based on my own experiences and what I've learned from my many mentors, is the LIVE ON PURPOSE Course in Self Mastery.

Helping people to LIVE ON PURPOSE is the overarching goal of the course. LIVE ON PURPOSE also happens to be an easy-to-remember acronym for the 13 principles of the program. These principles (not in order of importance) include:

1. Lead with Love
2. Identify your Highest Values
3. Visualize Your Ideal Life
4. Examine Your Current Life
5. Own Your Life
6. Nurture Your Relationships
7. Ponder Your Purpose
8. Uncover Your Gifts and Talents
9. Remember Who You Really Are
10. Plan For Your Success
11. Overcome Your Obstacles
12. Stretch Yourself
13. Enjoy The Present Moment

It's an honor to share these principles with you. Over the next couple of months, every week you'll receive a Weekly Dose with an overview of each principle and suggestions for how you can best apply this in your own life.

Of course, you are free to accept or reject each principle as you see fit. My only desire is to give you a meaningful framework to help you live as joyfully and purposefully as possible.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you'd like to schedule a time for us to discuss how you can start LIVING ON PURPOSE today.

(Answer to riddle: There are still six frogs on the lily pad. Deciding to do something and actually doing it are two very different things!)
